Behringer-305-EQ-MIXER-OUTPUT

The Behringer 305 is a faithful analog recreation of the Roland System 100M 305 module from the early 1980s. This versatile 24 HP utility combines a 4-band parametric EQ, a 4-channel stereo mixer (with pan and sliders), a built-in tuning oscillator (220/440/880 Hz), master volume control, headphone output, dual master outs (3.5 mm + 1/4″), and signal/clip LEDs—making it an ideal output stage, EQ processor, monitor mixer, or final polish tool for any Eurorack system. Normalled connections (EQ to mixer channel 1, oscillator as “fifth” input) allow instant use, while full patching unlocks creative routing for mixing voices, EQing external signals, or tuning oscillators precisely.

Key Features & Signal Flow

  • 4-band parametric EQ — Precise sculpting with level, bandwidth (Q), and frequency per band; bypass for A/B comparison; direct outs for parallel processing or sidechaining.
  • 4-channel stereo mixer — Independent volume sliders and pan pots; channel 1 normalled from EQ for seamless EQ → mix flow (break with patch cable).
  • Built-in tuning oscillator — 220/440/880 Hz reference tones blendable into mixer—handy for calibrating VCOs, tuning patches, or adding test signals.
  • Master output & monitoring — Stereo master volume, dual 3.5 mm + 1/4″ outs (use L/MONO for single output), separate headphone level—perfect final stage for live or studio.
  • Classic System 100M utility — All-analog signal path with warm, musical EQ curves; signal/clip LEDs prevent overloads; compact yet comprehensive output solution.
  • Normalled & patchable — Default flow: external sig → EQ → mixer ch1 → master; patch freely for multing, external EQ, or mixing multiple voices before output.
  • Versatile applications — Final mixdown stage, EQ processor for voices/percussion, headphone monitoring, tuning reference, or utility for small racks needing I/O and tone shaping.
